THE LIVING FOREST
The Forest Changes.
So Does Our Honey.
Wild honey is not a factory product. It breathes with the forest. The colour, aroma, and texture of every batch depends on what the native Apis Cerana Indica bees foraged that season: wild cardamom, jamun, neem, turmeric, and a hundred rare medicinal blossoms. Natural variation is the signature of real, raw honey. It means your jar was never pasteurised into dull uniformity. It is alive, and it will continue to evolve on your shelf.
THE HARVEST
Harvested by Communities.
Protected by Tradition.
Deep in the Western Ghats, the Kattunayakan, one of India’s oldest forest-dwelling tribes, have gathered wild honey for generations. They do not farm bees in boxes. They know the flowering seasons, the cliff-side hives, and the ancient, smoke-free methods that protect the bees and the forest. Every jar of TRIBAL GOLD™ carries their knowledge, their patience, and their unbroken relationship with the wild.
WESTERN GHATS
Sourced from the Muthanga Reserve in Wayanad, a UNESCO World Heritage biodiversity hotspot.
MINIMALLY PROCESSED
Gently sieved to remove large debris, never fine-filtered. Pollen, propolis, and natural enzymes remain intact.
WILD HONEY
Collected from Apis Cerana Indica, India’s native wild bee, living freely in the forest, not in managed hives.
COMMUNITY HARVESTED
Gathered by the indigenous Kattunayakan community using traditional knowledge passed down across centuries.
THE PRODUCT
A Forest
in Every Jar.
Open a jar of TRIBAL GOLD™ and you will not find industrial uniformity. You may see tiny dark specks of pollen and propolis floating inside. A thin layer of activity on the surface. A honey that darkens, cloudies, or even crystallizes over time. This is exactly what raw, unfiltered forest honey does. Its flavour carries the wild, slightly woody notes of the Western Ghats, a taste no blended, heated honey can replicate. Stir it gently, warm it in water if you wish, and taste the forest exactly as it was.

ORIGIN
Western Ghats forest landscapes, Wayanad.
CRAFT
Harvested by hand, minimally filtered, packed raw.
CHARACTER
Active enzymes, visible pollen, gentle seasonal shifts.
OUR DISTINCTION
Why
Tribal Gold™?
Most honey is pasteurised above 60°C, pressure-filtered until every trace of pollen vanishes. It becomes uniform, transparent, and shelf-stable forever but its enzymes are gone. Its story is gone. TRIBAL GOLD™ chooses a different path. We preserve the fragile proteins and the drifting particles. We accept that the honey will change, because that is the signature of its aliveness.
01
ENZYMES STILL AT WORK
Invertase, diastase, and glucose oxidase remain functional. They are the reason the honey crystallizes, evolves, and offers more than simple sweetness.
02
POLLEN AND PROPOLIS, alive
The tiny specks and natural cloudiness are not imperfections. They are nutrient-dense markers of a honey that has never been stripped of its origin.
03
HELD BY TRADITION
The Kattunayakan community’s smoke-free, patient harvest ensures the honey arrives with the same inner activity the bees entrusted to it. FSSAI certified (Lic. No. 21326227000006).
SERVING INSPIRATION
The Quiet Art of
Using Good Honey.
Raw forest honey belongs in everyday rituals. Stir it into warm water or herbal tea, never boiling, to protect its living enzymes. Drizzle it over sliced Kerala bananas, spread it on fresh bread, or take a spoonful straight from the jar. Let it crystallize? Place the sealed jar in a bowl of warm water and stir gently. It will return to liquid gold, ready for the morning.
